For Grantseekers

Applications to the Nordblom Family Foundation are accepted by invitation only.
If you have received an invitation to submit a Letter of Intent, please refer to your email for complete instructions and guidelines.

Funding Priorities
The Foundation has identified four funding strategies- Youth, Parenting, Older Adults, and End-of-Life Care- that work together to enhance families across all generations. Please see our homepage for a description of these strategies.

Geographic Focus
The Nordblom Family Foundation supports projects in the state of Massachusetts.

Eligibility
Applicants to the foundation must be 501(c) (3) organizations working in the Foundation’s fields of interest. The Foundation will not make grants directly to individuals or to other private foundations.

Types of Grants
The Foundation will consider requests for program grants for organizations that operate multiple programs, and core mission support grants for organizations that operate a singular program. Grant sizes will vary in relevance to the size of the project and organizational budgets of applicants. Grant size will normally range from $10,000 to $50,000, with occasional larger grants reserved for special circumstances.

Application Process
If applicants are invited to submit a Letter of Intent, they will receive a call or letter from the Foundation’s staff. Details of full proposal application requirements and deadlines will be made available at the time of invitation. An invitation to submit a full proposal should not be considered a guarantee that support will be forthcoming.

All materials are due to the Foundation via the online application database. Please click here to view the online application. Once you have registered, please use the access code provided to you via email to access the full application.
